A red brick driveway leads to Miami Heat shooter Shane Battier's Colonial-style, Coral Gables home with wraparound balconies and a separate garage with upstairs apartment.

Rumors circulated that Battier would be traded when he put his house up for sale last month, but it turns out he was just interested in moving into some new digs. His new Colonial-style home is located on Santa Maria Street, near the Riviera Country Club.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home was recently renovated and contains more than 6,000 square feet of space, wraparound balconies, a sparkling pool and a great backyard in the beautiful Coral Gables neighborhood.

Neighborhood Spotlight: Coral Gables

Developed by George Merrick in the 1920s, the neighborhood is one of the nation's first fully planned communities and features streets lined with banyan trees, tropical foliage and lots of green space.
