A beautiful mountain hideaway, this Boulder home was recently remodeled to include the best in green living amenities. Thanks to a roof-mounted, 20-panel SunPower PV system and solar thermal system, this house is now a net-zero-energy property.

Water conservation was also kept in mind during the renovation. Low-flow faucets and showerheads were installed throughout the home, plus reverse-osmosis water filters and tandem well-water pressure tanks to reduce cycling of the property's well pump.

The home's decor also keeps with the green theme: low-VOC New Zealand wool carpets, cork flooring, in-floor radiant heating and a one-of-a-kind wood stove that heats the entire home incorporate both style and eco-friendly design.
