After purchasing this beachfront home from Jaws actor Roy Scheider in 2007, singer-songwriter and longtime Hamptons resident Billy Joel hired designer Nate Berkus -- a regular guest on The Oprah [more] Winfrey Show -- to renovate and redesign the entire estate. The "Uptown Girl" singer paid $16.75 million for the four-bedroom, six-bathroom home in 2007 and listed it for $22.5 million in 2009. The following year, he reduced the price to $19.9 million, and again to $18.5 million. UPDATE (6/2/2011): Billy Joel has reduced the asking price on his home to $16.75 million.
