If I had an account on the old OpenHouse.com, why can't I access it now?
As part of the transition of OpenHouse.com to HGTV's FrontDoor.com, your previous account has been disabled. Most important, your open houses are being promoted to the loyal fans of HGTV and a broader national audience looking to buy their next home.
Why isn't my open house showing up on HGTV's FrontDoor.com?
Are you sure? Try the following: (1) Use the search by state map on OpenHouse.com and drill down to your specific location to make sure you didn't miss it on the site. (2) If it's not there, confirm you have submitted your open house information to your data provider, and that they have the capability to deliver open house data to FrontDoor.com. Note: depending on when you submit your open house, it may take up to 48 hours for it to post on HGTV's FrontDoor.com. Make sure to plan ahead!
I checked all of the items above, but I still cannot locate my open house on HGTV's FrontDoor.com. What next?
If you already did #1 and #2 above, then check to make sure the date of your open house has not expired. We remove all open houses listings for dates in the past. If your open house date has expired, you are free to resubmit your open house with updated date(s) and time(s).
How can I submit my open house or listings to OpenHouse.com or HGTV's FrontDoor.com?
Currently we require open house data be delivered via the daily listings feed you or your listings syndication partner sends to HGTV's FrontDoor.com. If you are interested in promoting your listings and open house information on HGTV's FrontDoor.com, email us at Partners.
For those who previously used the Open House Now self-serve tool, this capability has been closed as HGTV's FrontDoor.com prepares for the launch of our self-service application during 2010. On an immediate basis, if you work through Point2, ListHub or Reliance Network, we encourage you to contact them for details about delivering your open house information to HGTV's FrontDoor.com in their daily listings feed to us.
If I'm a homeowner, can I submit my open house and/or listing to HGTV's FrontDoor.com?
At this time, we do not accept open house times for FSBO (for-sale-by-owner) listings. However, you can submit your open house listing via your listings broker or agent -- make sure to tell them to submit it to us via the methods described above so you can promote your open house to our home searchers on HGTV's FrontDoor.com.
What if my open house information is posted incorrectly, or I need to update the date(s) and time(s)?
We will always post your open house information as it has been provided to us. If for any reason you need to update this information, please contact your data provider with the correct information so that they can deliver it to us in their daily feed. Note: depending on when you submit this information, it may take up to 48 hours for the updated information to be reflected on HGTV's FrontDoor.com. We encourage you to plan ahead on such changes.
