Reenact the highs and low of the classic '80s flick in Ferris's friend Cameron's on-screen home.
Ferris Bueller's Sell Off
Chicago, Illinois
Ferris Bueller may have already had the best day off ever -- complete with a joyride in a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT and a parade float -- but you can own the house where much of the action took place. This Chicago-area home was his best friend Cameron's house in the film, and it's on the market at a reduced price of $1.8 million.
On the market since May, the home home tops nonprofit group Landmarks Illinois list of endangered properties.
The Ferris Bueller home likely tops the list since its fate is still uncertain. Landmark officials say that several inquiries have been made about demolishing the house or a possible lot split. The home is priced at $2.3 million.
Built from 1952 to 1954 by renowned architects James Spayer and David Haid, the two steel-and-glass buildings on the property are cantilevered over the ravine below, which gives the home incredible vistas of the surrounding woods.
